What courses do I need to get my Green Labourer's Card
A short answer does exist. Two of the most common routes to the question we get asked the most are explained...
Take the CITB Health Safety & Environment Test (HS & E). The HS & E test consists of a 45 minute screen test and costs £21. It can be taken at many locations across the UK. As long as you took this within the last two years then you can take either:
Option 1
CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course (HSA)
The HSA course is a 1 day course and starts from £95. We offer these courses across the UK with a price match guarantee. No previous training is required and all the manuals and certificatation fees are included in the cost.
Option 2:
The Working Safely course is a 1 day course and starts from £95 . We offer these courses across the UK with a price match guarantee. No previous training is required and all the manuals and certificatation fees are included in the cost.
You can then apply for your Green - Labourer CSCS Card which costs £36 and will enable you to work on site as a labourer.
CSCS stands for Construction Skills Certification Scheme. CITB stands for the Construction Industry Training Board. IOSH stands for Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
